A Sentient Trader user encountered an unusual problem:
Registration of Sentient Trader was successful, but the Activation of the license which follows the registration failed every time he tried.
It turned out that the issue had to do with the TCP/IP stack on his computer. The solution was to reset Winsock and the TCP/IP stack (which resolves strange networking issues). He issued the following two commands (using the command prompt window):
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit
After a reboot of the computer the problem was resolved and he was able to activate the license.
If you're encountering this problem don't hesitate to contact support and we'll walk you through the fix or connect to your computer to fix the problem for you.
