Announcing Sentient Trader version 4.0.1.8

Dear Sentient Trader users,

We are very happy to announce that today, Monday 15th May, the next stable version of the software has been released: version 4.0.1.8.!

When you next start up Sentient Trader it should recognize the update. If not you can update either by going to Help> Check for update, or by downloading and installing manually from here.

Some highlights of this new version of the software are:

• Envelopes can now be drawn on all Sentient Trader charts.
• Average Lines can now be plotted on all Sentient Trader charts.
• Watermarks can now be added to all Sentient Trader charts.
• Work has been started to improve analysis efficiency. To this end an option has been added to improve efficiency on intraday charts. 
• It is now possible to send trades to Metatrader 4 from charts receiving data from sources other than MT4.
• And many others...

Due to issues with the release of new data formats the MetaStock integration and the IB TWS integration have been removed from Sentient Trader. We are currently in the process of rebuilding these integrations.

If you have any issues at all, as usual, don't hesitate to contact support. If you would like to revert to the previous stable version in the meantime you can download v.4.0.0.3 from here. You will need to uninstall Sentient Trader before reinstalling the old version.
